Site's up!

Well, it looks like I'm finally going to do something with this domain. My parents want a way to read about my life on the Internet, and I figured it couldn't hurt to have a "real" website for once (old Geocities sites don't count!). This is pretty bare for now, but hopefully I'll be able to add more features as I go.

new blogging software

After years of using Blosxom, I'm finding that there features I want that are too difficult to configure properly through their system, so I'm switching over to MovableType. Unfortunately, I can't find an easy way to export my entries, so you'll have to bear with me as I do it manually. Hopefully this is the last time I have to do this.

The good news is that the new features should make the experience much more enjoyable for everyone. In particular... commenting! You can now leave a note and let me know how stupid you think my blog is. =)

New family site!

I'm pleased to announce the resurrection of the Tang family site, featuring a blog and photo gallery. It's not as cute as the old site, but much more powerful, and all of the family members have edit permissions now, so hopefully between the six of us, we'll be able to keep interesting content up there. My intention is to continue posting here (hopefully more regularly) and make corresponding posts on the family site that link back here.
